You can contact me by phone at 913.999.4209, by email at sherry@sherryburns.org, or via the contact page on this web site. We will start with a short call (typically 30 minutes), during which you can provide me with a glimpse into your situation and we will discuss the services I offer.
If we both agree we feel like we are a good match, we will schedule a meeting that typically lasts an hour to an hour and a half. At this meeting, I will bring a first draft of a service agreement based on our previous communications and talk through details of the services you would like. We will tweak the service agreement until we are both in agreement that it covers your plan. Then we will schedule upcoming visits and start our relationship and work in earnest.
There is no charge for my end-of-life doula services. I see this as a time when a community unites to surround and support a person whose life is nearing its end. I think of myself as one more member of your community, not as a paid service provider.
Covid-19 Update: I am fully vaccinated and am comfortable meeting in person with masks. If you would rather not meet in person, we can meet via phone calls, video calls (using Zoom or FaceTime), and outdoors as weather permits. We can be creative!
